About Us

Our History

The company was formed in 1989 by Steve Thomas, who originally left a large national bearing company to offer a better service. We have a small efficient team who are happy to help 24/7 for any out of hour emergencies you may have. We progressed from selling bearings and power transmission products to specialising in supplying linear systems which is now what we are known for but we still sell the standard products to our local customers in our area.
Products

Out with THK we can also source and provide many more linear manufacturers products such as Samick linear ball bushings and case units, Hiwin, Bosch Rexroth linear to name but a few.

Cutting/Butt Joining

We have an impressive cutting machine onsite meaning we can offer speedy service for custom length rails and also butt joining for longer length rails.

Re-balling

MES is professionally trained in re-balling bearings, adding or removing seal kits and lubricators. Even if your product is non-standard, 9 times out of 10 we can help you from the large amount of bearings, rails and spare parts we have in stock.

Delivery

We offer a next day carrier service with UPS. If you require something more urgently, let us know and we can quote you on a same day delivery service anywhere in the UK. Our van can hold up to 3.5 metre rails and up to 1.2 tones. If you have your own carrier service, you can arrange collection with us or we can ship on your account number.
